I draw with PanPastel and coloured pencil on Ingres Pastel Paper whilst working from high quality photos. I will work with you to decide which photos will work best and why, and to accommodate any specific requirements you may have.

I work roughly to a standard size of 6×8 inches for one subject, however I can work to any size you require.

My prices start from £225 for one subject (6x8 inches) plus postage. The price includes a £75 deposit upfront.

Unfortunately I am no longer able to offer a framing service. I am however able to give advice on framing, including frame mouldings, mounts and glass types.

Working to a standard size of 6x8 inches for one subject also means that you can opt for a ready made frame if you're looking for a budget friendly option.

So you’ve decided you want to commission a portrait, what’s next?

Please fill out a contact form and we’ll chat by email about how you want your portrait to appear regarding pose, background colour and size. I also like to use this as an opportunity to get to know you a little along with your chosen subject. I think having an understanding of the subject, whether that's a family member or a beloved pet, helps me capture a true spirit.

You’ll then need to send over several high quality photographs of the subject and we’ll discuss to see which one works best. Once all the important decisions have been made I’ll require a £75 deposit before proceeding.

I’m just as excited as you are to work on your portrait! I’ll keep you updated by sending through one progress photo and another once completed. When you are happy with the completed portrait you can make the remaining payment (plus postage) and I’ll send your portrait straight out to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
