Edith Langford is a stylist, set designer and freelance artist based in the Cotswolds.

She has always been fascinated by the natural world and, from an early age, was rarely without a paintbrush in hand. It wasn't until her grandmother commissioned her to paint a series of foxgloves in 2018 that she became captivated by botanical illustration. At the time, Edith was working as an architectural assistant, and her growing interest in floral forms began to influence the direction of her creative practice. This led her to study a Master's in Graphic Design and Visualisation at Loughborough University, where she explored the cultural and historical symbolism of flowers through a research-led book design project.

Following graduation, Edith established Edith Langford Art, building a freelance practice alongside other creative roles. In the years that followed, she continued to explore different forms of creativity, from portraiture and illustration to learning the traditional craft of picture framing, deepening her appreciation for the relationship between artwork, materials and presentation.

Today, Edith works as a stylist at Corston Architectural Detail, designing sets and curating the look and feel of imagery to celebrate timeless interiors, craftsmanship and considered design. Alongside her styling work, she continues to develop her artistic practice, creating botanical illustrations inspired by nature, history and the personal stories flowers can tell.
